Question
Some research indicates that if you give a protein synthesis inhibitor during the formation and storage of a new memory, the memory will not be stored in long-term memory. Interestingly, if you give the same drug during the recollection of a memory, that memory is essentially erased from long-term memory. What does this suggest about the nature of recollection?

Answer: It shows that if you give the drug to some one that dose not have long-term memory it wont affect them as bad as it would to the people that have long-term memory.
Explanation: How i came up with my answer is that in the text it says”of a new memory, the memory will not be stored in long-term memory. Interestingly, if you give the same drug during the recollection of a memory, that memory is essentially erased from long-term memory.” so just from that little section of text it shows that the drug would help people with out long-term memory more than the people with long-term memory.
